A flagship Android app shipped to the Google Play Store — a universal APK/XAPK installer and file manager with remote Web-to-TV sideloading and pre-install malware scanning. Passed 500k+ downloads across phones, tablets, and Android TV. Based on the client’s Figma designs and vision, I managed the entire development of this app.

The problem
Standard Android installers choke on modern package formats — split APKs (APKS/APKM), XAPK bundles with OBB data, and App Bundles — leaving sideloaders stuck with manual file extraction and error screens. Power users and Android TV owners also had no clean way to push files from a phone or PC to their TV without USB drives or cables.
The solution
A single app that parses and installs every major package format automatically, extracts and places OBB data in the correct path, and adds two differentiators: a remote Web-to-TV installer that sideloads files over Wi-Fi from any browser, and a pre-install security scan. No root required, working on Android 5.0 to 14+ — including devices without Google services.
